Fishing is not always about catching fish.....(that's what you say when the bite is slow). We did manage a few yesterday while dipping stumps and brush. The scenery is awesome though. This river fishing is a new experience for me.

That looks like a place I want to try, is it very hazardous to navigate?

No sir, this part of the river is very wide and easy to navigate...just stay in the middle while on plane.

We are launching at Swede Johnson Park just a few miles south of Joaquin. Here's directions...

As president off the panola county potlickers Association i feel it is necessary to inform you that this post is lacking in scope and detail!!! Further more it is a Hackle feather width away from infringement with the Louisiana fishing forum!!! stir

The driving force and secret desire of every bass fisherman, is to one day be a crappie fisherman............Could it be that the good Lord just smilies and looks the other way when a fisherman tells a lie?

Never seen that bridge before. Been years since I've put in that ramp. You got to be going down stream I would think!

Yes sir, we were moving down stream. The bridge is over a feeder creek...very shallow....just went in there to snap a couple pics. How have you been? Getting close to bridge time on Murvaul... fish

Been nursing some back problems lately. The crappie bite on Nac. has been hit and miss for me. Went today for about 3 hours and only had 3. Think the transition in taking place. Been fishing shallow 10ft to 25 ft. Can see them on the graph but not biting at least for me.
