The bite has been Grate lately. Crappie have been all over the brush piles in 12 -25 FOW. White, Pink and Chartreuse have been the best producers. The lake is full of small Shad so don't be afraid to down size your jigs. I've also been finding some bigger fish around the edges of road beds. Lake Waco has lots of submerged roads that have a 1 to 2 foot drop along the edge. Crappie use these edges as they move about the lake. You won't typically catch a bunch in one spot but if you move along it slowly and really work it over you will do well.

I have lots of openings available in the up coming weeks and I'm still running my Grand Re-Opening special. $175 for a half day for 2 people or $150 for 1 person.

here's some from the last few weeks.

I want to thank Dean for a fun trip on Sunday pictured above with my dad and son. It wasn't the best of weather conditions with the drizzle and north of wind, but he found a bunch of fish that were ready to bite. We kept a few meals and let several others go. Not pictured is the biggest fish of the day that my son put back in the lake when I said to put it in the water. I meant the live well...he thought I meant the lake. He also said grandpa caught a bunch of "wiener fish"...aka 9.5 inchers. We're already booked for another trip in a couple of weeks.

sounds like a great day! Dean knows how to find em! thumb

Caleb sure had a good time I see. ha He is a natural.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !
