All my server maintenance windows have to be after normal working hours so I work at night at least once a week and usually 2-3 times. May only be for 30 minutes sometimes, but it's usually 2-3 hours.

What a maroon!

Yeah, telecom construction management...going on 24/7 for the past 15 years. Prior to that was a tower hand for 10 years and home was whatever motel was close to the site. Time to put the wheels down and start coasting, but I do office from home full-time now.

Home time is family time. When I'm there it's about that. I will bring home to work with me some though...priorities!

I had to listen to my brother and his wife complain about the BIL working at the dining room table all the time. Not sure why they were complaining. They played golf almost every day.

I used to stress about stuff when I started my job about 3 years ago. But now I've learned that nobody's life is on the line (unless it is) so I don;t sweat it one bit while I'm at the house. It's great

Hugh Hefner took his work home with him... he lived to be 91.

I would like to quit bringing work home and working long hours. I have already stopped working weekends and I get negative feedback about it. I want to stay positive and lose the negative influences on my life. If work becomes a negative influence, I will find somewhere else. I am worth every penny they pay me and more.

It is never their fault, they haven't made any changes lately.

If I'm working from home that means I'm getting OT so I welcome it. A few weeks ago I worked 20 hours of OT over the weekend in the comfort of my recliner, can't beat it.
