Was going through some old baits in the garage for the Grandson and found these gems from way back:

Yum! Hog lard

I have 1 bag of Jawtec baits.

Anything in a zip-loc bag isn't "old" unless it's in the fridge .

i have Hawg Lard & use them

Salt impregnated. They must be good.

fliptail lizards,injured minnow and S.O.S. minnow....

I bet all those still work fine!

Esp the one that was "Tournament Tested". That means its very good. Because you know... tournaments

I wonder if fish can even taste salt.

Wow, some more cool baits. Honey Hole magazine TV show used to mention Flip Tail Lizards. And I still have some "Tried and True, Black and Blue" Wacky Craws. Caught many a fish on Fork with those in the day.

Like fine wine, they should be really good now.

Here is another Jawtec old.

A couple days ago a guy posted on the next door that he had just acquired a large quantity of like new lures and soft plastics and he was wanting to sell them for $3 each. I had to go see what he had as if I don�t have more than I can use already. I was expecting/hoping for 5 and 6 xds and things of that sort. He started pulling out boxes and just about all of it was borderline antique. There were about 100 packs of different old school worms. I was disappointed about it. I was thinking I had done hit the jackpot. The only new things were 5 or 6 spro frogs. I hate frog fishing but I bought them for a buddy whose home lake is the ultimate frog fishery. There was 3 or 4 baits that we�re definitely antique status and I�m kicking myself for not getting them.
