I worked 2 summer jobs to make enough money so my mom and I could move to San Marcos for my senior year, so I wouldn't have a diploma from Lockhart High. The fact that it has good BBQ changes nothing when you have to live there.

Nope,, built the annex building there in the middle of the summer, 115* wind blew 30 everyday.

Greenville. Low wage city and each year passing becomes more and more Drugville.
Thats all the police do there, bust drug and drug related offenses.

It's not that bad , dude . 2nd and 3rd generations speak mainly English . Learn a little Spanish and have some fun .

Example : The other day I was trying to help a customer that wanted a product we don't carry . His boss walked up and he started complaining (in Spanish) that I didn't have a clue about what items were available . I looked him dead in the eye and told him "no tengo !" . Shut his a$$ up real quick .

To many small towns in far South Texas to fill the list of bad places as far as bad small towns.
