I love Houston, but apparently y’all can’t do humidity. I’ve seen some places and lived in a few that... I’ll just stop there.

I would live there in a heartbeat. Some of the best people in the world. You just have to be in the right line of business and be willing to drive to fish. Mine would be Chicago, NY, L.A. - the usual suspects. Would the right line of business be dentistry? Wrong state Derek. No Man's land is not the backwoods by any means. Those people are some of the toughest, proudest, and hard-working people in the country - you have to be to live there:

If I had 3 weeks to live I would move to Pecos,3 weeks there feels like 3 yrs.

From all of this, I can say for sure, that the grass is always greener over the septic tank. A month into the new house and just yesterday I made this observation. It’s real.
