Nope, the 5 and 7" are chirp. Mega ( large ) starts at 9.
I am a Senager. (Senior teenager) I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 50 years later. I get an allowance every month. I have PU truck and a bass boat, I am blessed. Conscience never acquits, it either accuses or excuses.

what I thought.. I don't think I can get 9 or 10 on the dash my issue. Assuming Chirp and Mega there is difference? I.e. get the Mega?

I'm not happy with the 7 at all... They need to come up with a software upgrade even if you have to buy a different transducer.

what I thought.. I don't think I can get 9 or 10 on the dash my issue. Assuming Chirp and Mega there is difference? I.e. get the Mega? The MEGA units CHIRP both 2D sonar and Imaging. You can choose single frequency or CHIRP. MEGA is one of the three Imaging frequencies the MEGA SI and MEGA DI units have--1200 kHz or 1.2 MHz. They also have 455 kHz, and 800 kHz Imaging.
Helix 12 CHIRP MEGA SI+ GPS G3N and G4N, 1198c SI, SOLIX 10 SI G3, Helix 8 MEGA SI+ GPS G4N, SOLIX 12 SI and G3, MEGA 360, MEGA LIVE TL, RC-1

I want to clarify a few reasons I don't like the Helix 7. 1. Resolution is very bad and almost illegible on the si which is the reason I bought it. 2. Keys don't light up at night so you need to use a flashlight to figure out where the keys are in the dark.
