I enjoy the competition, I do like to see big fish (blk bass) venues over 100 small mouth a day. I will pay attention to those known big fish guys when in Texas, and Florida.. So, I like both choices.

I could care less about watching a tournament of any kind. I would rather just watch the shows where someone just goes out fishing. Most of the tournament pros end up getting on my nerves pretty quick with all of their buffoonery.

Agree 100%. It's not a very good TV or spectator sport, despite MLF's fairly successful effort to make it more so.

Interesting question though. I tend to tune in to the major events as they happen, FLW Cup, BASS Classic, and follow the progress of a few favorite competitors scattered across the circuits occasionally. Other than the major championships, I don't actually make an effort to watch tournament coverage.

I personally find that there are certain pros that I have found a reason that I get attached to and want to watch them do well. That being said, Ive had little interest in the AOY championship this weekend because I dont care for Justin Lucas and no one else really had a chance to catch him. I dont have anything against him, hes just not someone I have found a reason to root for

I consider it entertainment with a chance to pick up some useful techniques. If it doesn't entertain me, it's off. I thought the MLF was entertaining so I watched it. I find BASS and FLW less entertaining so they're maybe yes, maybe not.

BASS used to be better before the personalities became larger than their sack of fish.

I like tight production on a quality lake. Who is fishing is less of a concern as long as there is catching. The difference between YouTube and MLF, BASS and FLW is production quality. Production quality requires talent and significant investment.

I think production will determine the TV battle of the tournament trails.

I like mlf better when they are fishing largemouth where 4+ pound fish are common and they are catching them flipping. The Florida one this year is one of my all time favorites.

You're 100% right John and Jim Wilburn is the best there is. BPT will be the most watched fishing program on TV ever and I'm looking forward to it. Here in Texas BASS CHAMPS will draw big but they will have to move back to FSSW to do it.
