I didn't want to completely hijack the other thread so figured I would put these details that were asked for here.
Dobyns has been working on this new Xtasy rod line for more than 5 years. Rumors have circled for a long time about them with various names, but Gary finally settled on Xtasy.
The blanks are made from a brand new Toray Nano material that is extraordinarily light, sensitive and strong. The guides are Fuji Torzite and the cork is AAAA.
There are 5 spinning models and 5 casting models.
Spinning: 721, 722, 723, 752 and 753
Casting: 723, 724, 753, 754 and 755
Retail is $549.

These look pretty amazing! Now I definitely need to go by the warehouse and see how these feel. Might have to sell some plasma to buy one

I picked up an Xtasy 755. It's a mag heavy but has the diameter of a 3 power rod which is crazy. The way to cork feels is also insane. Weather didn't let me get on the water but I will this coming weekend.
