Is it the event or the pro that you tune into see? I have been following the sport for a long time and it is not the pro that draws me to watch .

Doesnt make sense!! Without the pro there is no event but without the event there is still pros! If Bassmaster live, FLW, or MLF came on tv and there was no one fishing would you still watch the blank screen? Would you show up to the weigh in without any one there to weigh in fish?

He's asking if you tune in to watch KVD, Swindle, your favorite, etc....

I watch no matter who is fishing. I enjoy all of them

Like what James said. But I also like to watch the antics of the anglers when the pressure is on, time running out etc.

Do you find it interesting when you are on the cut line. Most of the fish are in the 1 to 2 pound range, you are a pound behind and you take the time to retie your line?

At one time I was watching Roland , Bill Dance and Ricky Green . Once KVD , Bobby Lane , Gerald Swindle are gone there will be new ones step up.

The days of the live weigh in are overrated, updates all day and tracking general weights now make them tired. Most local tourney anglers stay for weigh in to see if they got a check, otherwise they on the road. Who cares who is fishing on tv or what trail, its mostly about the action. Its entertaining or it gets turned off. By the way the elites drop shotting 40 smallies at st Lawrence to me was a snoozer. Watched one day for an hour or so and was done. Also like watching brim fishing just bigger brim, love to fish it hate to watch on tv when they are deep.
I dont follow any of them and never really have so a pro to me is just a guy that pays to fish. If a monkey is catching 4 pounders on a chug bug on one channel and on the other channel the GOAT KVD is boating 2 pounders on a square bill, Im watching the monkey.

For me it's the location first and then the anglers. Circuit does not matter. If the tournament is on a body of water I like then I will tune in no matter what anglers have cameras. If I don't care for the body of water (northern offshore fishing mostly) I will still watch if certain anglers have cameras. Otherwise I'm doing something else with my time and just checking the daily results at the end of the day.

This has been and always will be a participation sport. Watching it is always secondary.

Well thats the point. I like G Man the most but I watch even if he doesnt make the cut. The fishermen is why we all watch it. Without them it would be dead air time. The event comes second.

Quite honestly I ain't choosing one trail over the other. I ain't picking sides. Gonna keep watching and enjoying all 3 as long as all 3 vontinue to be worth watchinhg.

I don't do manufactured drama though so so if starts I'm out. For me as a fan I like the game. Names come and go but I like the game. I'm not doing the silly choosing sides are exclaiming one trai is better than the other ok the best. There are things I like about all 3.

Same here. Keep it real. Or it's gone.
