What size head is that? Looks like a good white bass jig.

Uh Oh!!! Now those are some jigs that are right up my alley. Add a little dark grey or better yet olive green above the pink (for the back) and it will be a sure fire killer. It has been my top producing color since I had some tied back in May. Very nice work there Skip.

Fly that inspired my choice.

Columbus took a chance and he made it.

That is a nice looking jig! That head looks a lot like that 1/16oz head Crazy Angler use to carry. I think I have a couple hundred of Crazy Angler heads yet, will have to look. Again, good lookin jig!

Yes he made the mold for me. I sent him a head to copy and told him what I was looking for. That consisted of a small as possible collar with a flair on the end and not a barb! It was made to tie kip tails originally, but is great for any kind of hair! That is back when Robert still made molds! I told him not all that long ago I was going to show it some and hope he could still pour them, but I don't remember if he still can or not. Originally he was hand pouring these in a one cavity mold, but later changed over to spin casting them. I have a lot of the spin casted ones and I even managed to save a couple hundred of the old hand pours. In saved them because I like them more then the spin cast one, lol!

Thank you guys! Seems I have been leaning to doing a little more hair tying. The thing I want to do most is use some of my Polar Bear hair as it super special stuff and cost a ton so it just sits here like all my other hair/fur. I have a lot of Fox, Kip tails, buck tails, 5 or 6 really cool fur hats I plan on cutting up and a ton of rabbit strips and other different kind of hair and I just need get off my duff and tie some of it! Also believe Polar Bear will be super productive and really was used a great deal years ago. The old famous Doll Fly was Polar Bear and why they don’t make them any more, lol!
