I'd rather watch MLF format but I'd prefer to fish a traditional format. I can still relax and enjoy the day in a regular tournament. The score tracker updates would drive me crazy.

If I was to ever start back fishing tournaments, I think I would like the MLF format. And this is why
1. It would spread out these massively large tournaments over several days with maybe 20 boats a day over a few days vs. the one day [censored] with 450 boats.
2. It may even relieve the stress on both the lakes and the fish.
3. It would make it safer on he water for everyone.
4. It would just be something different from the same ole thing.
5. I don't really have a 5 but this let me use all of my fingers on my hand. Feel free to add a #5 for me if you wish to.

MLF hands down for me. I love to catch a lot of fish and don't care anything about looking for 5 big fish. If I catch big fish it is a bonus to me. I might actually have a chance in an MLF style tournament

I think I'd like the MLF style the best(and what I voted for) but would still be cool to tally up the "best 5" from all the respective anglers and see what would have actually "won". Maybe even do a side pot entry where you could still win "best 5" besides the overall??

Traditional style for me. Its much more rewarding to catch 5 fish weighing 20+ then it is to catch 50 dinks. And watching MLF is fun but not better than BASS live. Hearing pro's scream its a giant every time they set the hook in MLF is too annoying.

Traditional, ya just cant beat that pre weigh in feeling when ya have a big bag but just not sure how its goin come out or who caught what. The suspense. The jokin around. Talkin trash. Etc... mlf is for tv.

I�d rather know what the others were catching, that would tell you wether or not you were throwing the right bait. No adjustments to be made when you don�t know what the others are catching.

I don't tourney fish, but If I did.. MLF style would be the best for me. It takes the pressure off of keeping the fish alive, and if you did the best 5 thing on the side, you would accomplish the original effect as well.

1 lb. penalty every time someone says "it's a giant" and it's less than 5 lb.

^^^^ YES!!! That would eliminate ike right away!!!! Maybe MLF should add a bonus for any fish that is "over 4 lbs" as that might encourage anglers to try for bigger fish!

An aspect of fishing I enjoy is the planning--looking at old photos of the lake, water level trends, map study.
This gives me a game plan and enables me to bring fewer rods and less tackle in the boat.

With most of the MLF competitions, they drop you off at a random boat ramp. This is entertaining, and makes for good TV, but I'd like to prepare for where I was fishing.

I would like to try MLF but based on my past performances if the bar was set at 1lb I would catch 14oz fish so nothing would really change I still suck.
