It was okay. Ribs were pretty good but I didnt care for the brisket. The potato salad was really good.

Speaking of "Lockhart BBQ," I went to Lockhart's in Plano off 15th street last night.
It blew!! Just terrible...
Now then, back to Smitty's BBQ talk...carry on!
Addendum: I've never been there.

Why would anybody go to Lockhart and eat anywhere besides Kreuz or Blacks? Because I was going to go to Blacks and about 3 people who have lived in Lockhart for 30 years told me to go to Smittys.

Team wolfs I had to perform. It took a minute to get it all in my mouth and another five to swallow it all.

Black's beef ribs are always the best food in the place for me.
Normally now we just stop in Chisholm BBQ on the way through. Its always good.

Get shoulder clod at Smitty's and/or pork chop (especially early in the day), ribs at Blacks or drive a little further to City Market. Chisholm trail for a chicken full meal deal with all the sides. Kreuz used to be better.

I've had great Brisket & ribs at all The Lockhart BBQ places, but I've also had some real misses at every one of them. That's why I usually just shoot through Lockhart and stop at City Market in Luling - their brisket has never let me down.
