Still got over 3 hours before I get off work. I know I mentioned it before but I'll say it again. Night shift bites the big one.

I'm just up early. My sleep patterns have been all messed up because of these surgeries, but I got 4 hours straight in the bed last night, as opposed to in the recliner, and that's a blessing.

Hope you are healing up PGR. I too wake up very early these days, it gets old. 3am isn't unusual for me to wake up

Thanks Dawg, I am. The doc tells me the recovery for the surgery I just had is about 4 weeks, but I'm already felling so much better than I was before. One more procedure to go, and that will probably be in about a month. It will be the easiest of the three procedures (I think).

PGR, glad you are doing better and being able to sleep will really help in your healing.
Praying all goes good on the next on.

Are all of these surgeries related to kidney stones?

Partially, but the one I had a few days ago was about an enlarged prostate. Once in that condition they can only be reduced by surgery, which I elected to do. The surgeon, using a scope, slowly cut away parts of the inside of my prostate. I was a perfect candidate for this, according to the surgeon, and it will make the rest of my life considerably better.

I thought it might be something other than the kidney issue

Same here. I call it YO YO sleeping (up and down). I don't remember what eight hours of sleep feels like.
