Just an FYI. I have some thumpers ready for deadstick season which is just around the corner. I’ve incorporated some better components and have a full 12 month warranty on parts and service. I used to think thumping only worked in the winter but I’ve been thumping up fish all year round even while trolling umbrella rigs. Give me a call or check out my Facebook page at Bobo’s Thumper or website at the link in my signature below.

I recently purchased one of his thumpers. Good design, comes in a completely water proof battery box, a deer feeder battery works the thumper perfectly. I can't tell you how great it is to NOT have to manual thump, cast, reel, present lure(slab and jig ) set hook etc ... with one hand. Makes ketching a lot more fun. Dead sticking will be even better.

Too much for me that's for sure. Unnecessary. Don't be a jerk bait!

Jeff put a check in mail today. As far as cost goes quality isn't cheap and time is not free. When I'm fishing I want to be catching fish and folks on my boat want to be catching fish. I'm excited to get this and spend more time catching and less time manually thumping

Maybe you think I'm a "jerk bait" or I have a bad "attitude" but I was simply stating my position on the cost of it. I never said anything negative about the product. I'm sure, without a doubt, that it's top notch.
I just can't afford it. There are different ways to defend things you like when someone says something you don't agree with. Trying to make someone look like a bad person isn't the right way. I might have bought one down the road or even purchased a few of his other items for sale but now I will have to revisit that. I hope you all feel better about yourselves because you definitely cost that man some money.

Fishndenton I never commented one way or the other about your post. You have an opinion as do the others who posted. I feel each person must choose to spend when where and how much of their money as they feel is best for their situation. I would hate to think someone else’s opinion of your comment would influence your decision to purchase an awesome “tool” to help increase your catch rate thus creating a more enjoyable fishing experience.

I've owned jbobo thumpers for a couple of years now and they are a great fishing tool. In the winter they improved my results 10 fold. I had a problem with a unit and jbobo sent me parts to fix it with no hassle. Its been a good item for me and the service has been excellent. I am also one of those guys who does not want to fish and thump at the same time. It has made my fishing much simpler and way more satisfying. It was a good investment for me.
