The original Panoptix was really great. The new livescope is incredible. Brush piles, bait pods, fish reacting to your lure and/or your boat, seeing humps and dips wherever you point the transducers, seeing underwater weedlines, stumps, rocks, etc.

How well does the liveview ,original Panoptix work in shallow water?

I have heard good and bad reports so am totally confused

I've watched carp on the bottom of a shallow creek channel (3-4') turn and swim away from the boat with the livescope. Original Panoptix is not as effective in that shallow of water for me. Although you can still see weedlines, stumps, etc.
