Searching for a few new rods. Have been looking at these Spiralite Rods at Tackle Warehouse. Anybody have any experience with these.

Too weird looking for me to give them a go, but TackleTour dot com has a very recent field test of one. They kinda gave it an average score.

Handled some of them at the FLW Cup about a month ago. The different models felt right for their price ranges, in terms of weight and sensitivity. I thought they looked pretty cool.

I only have the 8'H Fast that I use for big baits. It has been flawless. As I replace rods in the future, it will be with Spiralite and not just the spiral wrapped ones - they have a conventional line also.
