Depends on how hard wind is blowing and how fast you can run.....probably 20-30 minutes...

I have made it down there by boat in 19 mins.. (22 miles +-) Pretty much balls to the wall.. On slick water.. (I know some of you can make it faster..)

And it has taken me 2.5 hours coming back a time or two.. And I'll admit I should have known better..

And those times the water was a bit wrinkly..

Like James said, if it's calm, you can make it in 15-20 minutes. If it's rough, it can take as long as you want it to.

19 minutes, 'Balls to the wall', is fast. 30 minutes would be more of the average, that most plan on.
That's on a good day. some days you don't want to try it.

On slick water. Its not slick water a lot more than it is! And nothing like making the run early on slick water only to have an afternoon run back to the ramp on something way different than slick water. laugh Ask me how I know! wink

No winds to speak of this weekend.. We have had about six inches of rain here.. But more above us.. River running a little.. We have caught two feet and I think we'll catch a couple more before it all shakes out.. More rain will certainly change things..

Stay tuned..

Hopefully that tropical system parks over the Rio and fills up falcon and amistad. Probably a dream thought but you never know
