I'm relatively new to bass fishing – I have a couple of very nice reels loaded with braided fishing line, and a nice full tackle box that includes topwater lures as well as some plastic creature baits that I have rigged in imaginative ways (some of the rigs are named after States). I do NOT have a boat.
I live in Plano, about 90 minutes from Lake Fork.
My question is this: Where are some good spots on Lake Fork (and maybe even on Lake Tawakoni) where I could engage in some serious BANK FISHING?

Honestly there's not many places to bank bass fish at Fork. Very little public bank access do to the amount of RV
parks. There is a public park on Hwy 154 next to the bridge that has some access to water. And some of the
bridges do have people fishing under them but its limited, and difficult to get to.
Here's what I would do if you want to bass fish Fork.
Go to the Bass fishing section and ask if there's anyone at Fork that would like a back seater for the day.
I would offer to buy gas and lunch. There's a bunch of nice guys around that may like the company for a day.
fish good luck.

Just what he said.

You can definitely try hitting all the public boat ramps and all the bridges. I have caught some good bass agains the pilings or dragging along the concrete edge of the bridge.

If you wanna fish Fork I would suggest you purchase a cheap kayak or jon boat off craigslist. Twok has a state park you could fish, but again you can't do either lake justice from the bank.
