Fished from daybreak til 1:00 pm. Uncharacteristic east breeze very light. Fished familiar spots daybreak & 11:30 - 1:00. In between tried reeds & trees mid lake where springtime was great. Only got around 10 there with the best coming from trees in deeper water. (still pics) Overall probably ended up with 50-60. Cut the video down from 3 hours to around 15 minutes...Getting better with camera...it helps when u read the instructions... Fishing Videos

Laker...When I put in it was 90 degrees...when I took out it was 97 degrees. Stuck my hand in the water to see if it really seemed that warm and it was pretty hot. Doesn't seem to affect the bluegill bite though...they were biting like crazy from 11:30 to 1:00...especially in the tree shaded areas...one other note...I went with a REALLY small weight above the swivel this time & it worked out great. Less scum ...slower fall & a better bite.

Nice seeing Bluegill videos being posted here in the Bluegill section. Keep them coming Vogey. What time of day are you getting the best bite?

Gitter done...Well, once you locate where they are it really doesn't seem to matter. I usually fish daybreak til around 1:00 pm & this past week, I left them biting strong at 1:00. The area I was fishing mid-day had a lot of shady areas from the overhanging trees & they were at the edge of the shade & further in the shade as you can see in the video. I had not really fished the shallower dark shade areas much, and had put the camera up when I decided to take a few casts way up under the trees before I left. It was crazy, with a bite coming on almost every cast...hope this helps...

Totally Agree with you Vogey. By habit I usually start fishing at daylight or during the morning hours. Once I find a school of sunnies it's on,no matter what time of day. hooked

Side Note: I have had it when the bite simply stops and you do not catch a fish no matter what you do! bang
