I trust you were VERY careful in handling the mantis shrimp? And what kind of squid?

Yes that mantis was quite a surprise. I had newbies with me and told them "don't touch!" Not sure what kind of squid it was, caught it fishing at night off the Monterey Ca. Coast. We caught several and some of them had to weigh 2 pounds.

This may be the best thread on any fishing forum ever. I gotta start figuring out my "Life List" as the birders might say. So, do I have to have a photo for everyone to believe me? Fishermen wouldn't lie, right? I gotta say, some of those pics don't look like you. Maybe you just weren't yourself that day. Just BS'ing. I'm stoked to figure out my count.

I got to add #103 this past Thursday with a 48" alligator gar from Lake Livingston. Going to try to catch a snakehead in 2 weeks.

I got to catch #104 this weekend on the Potomac River near Washington D.C.
These were two big snake heads I caught. One weighed 11lbs and the other weighed 13lbs. They smoked the Stanley Poppin Toad.
