Thanks to to sili worm and the Brazos I knocked off two more of my must catch on the fly list.

Ended up going through all of my sili worms but got two drum and a dozen bass.

Sili worms are great but not very durable. I got a good deal on them at Cabelas and left them in the garage with my other flies. The summer heat melted them into one big glob. I managed to salvage a few of them and learned to store them differently in the future.

I keep all my fly fishing and tying stuff in a what we call the camping closet. I dont have to worry about much going bad. I tied 4 and lost three in the rocks and it one in a fish.

It's hard to find a better reel than the Crown II for what they go for. I like it better than my Battenkill. I have had my Crown II since I got it new in the 90's. The foot on mine is still tight. The rivet holding the foot to the frame a common problem with them. Put some Loctite or JB weld where the foot connects to the rectangular protrusion in the frame. That will help keep everything tight.
