Fished this past Wednesday and Thursday night on Lake Mcqueeney under the lights. On Wednesday my good fishing pal Jeff and I fished from 9:30a.m. till 2am under a green floating light in 12 feet of water. We had plenty of bait fish and had caught our first fish at 9:45pm. The fish was a 13" Crappie. The bite slowed down at 1am and turned off at 2am. Did not keep count but we caught a bunch of nice Crappie,Bluegill,Channel Cats,and a couple of bass. Biggest bass caught was about 4 pounds. Road Runner's,Little George Lures,small crank baits,jigs,and Gulp Alive Minnows were used. Fish were suspended in 5 to 8 feet of water. All fish were released. We followed up the next night,Thursday. We started again at 9:30pm and fished till midnight. The bite was "SUPER SLOW". We caught 3 Crappie,5 Bluegill,and 2 bass with the biggest about 3 pounds. What bite we had completely turned off at 11pm. There were plenty of bait fish in the area. Same baits as Wednesday were used. All fish were released. Will be fishing again next week on my days off!

Nice report LO. You are very fortionent to have a study place to fish on Mcqueeney. Public lake turned private. I fished way back in the years when Mcqueeney had several public boat ramps and was a super bass lake. Enjoy the times while you can! Keep those reports coming in!
