My wife and I had plans to go this weekend but one of my first cousins passed away so we will have to postpone. Have a great weekend!

Nice work Sir. The supreme confidence these guys have with their preferred baits is amazing to me. I guess I dont need 10 rods on the deck most days......
Also, the explanation of TOW to be a better fisherman is insightful and just makes sense.
See ya at the lake.....

Wife and I are picking the boat up from the shop tomorrow and going to have to give her a test run so we will be on Rayburn tomorrow too after lunch. I like only fishing big but usually put a shakey head on for the wife.

I like how they keep fishing simple. Worm, jig, spoon, and crankbait and go fishing. 3-4 colors of each that they have confidence in maybe a trap or A rig for special situations. I could probably eliminate 100 pounds of weight out of my boat if I kept it simple like they do. Had a slow afternoon on the Lake Saturday, fish from 2:00 until 7:00 had maybe 10 bites and caught 4. Fish kept stealing my worm and jig trailer. 2 I caught were on a football jig and 2 others on a crankbait. 12-16 feet of water on underwater ridges and humps.

I parked next to Albert at a Triton owners tournament. Awesome guy and was really cool to talk with.

Funny thing, I stopped by an Academy last week to grab a spool of line and I walked down the lure racks. When I get to the spoons there were tons of Little George's and different spoons but there were only 4 wing dings left on the racks. Not many 10-12 inch worms either.

Big worm probably most used bait year round on Rayburn the past 20 years. Nothing new

It would be nice, but it's also easier to do if you're limiting yourself to a couple of bodies of water.
