Well I intended to chase down some hybrids this morning but they were not pushed up shallow feeding while I was out. I decided for plan B which is White Bass fishing! I found a large school of white bass and had back to back action slabbing on Poverty Point. Heres a few cool screen shots of the school I found. I used a chartreuse bomber slab 3/4 ounce from Academy and as always it (and white) put lots of fish in the boat. I spot locked over the fish and would either moderately retrieve the slab off the bottom at a controlled speed or let the slab hit the floor of the lake and then lift it up as high as I could in a moderate speed taking about 5 seconds to get to the highest point of my reach.

I didnt do any SI of that school. There are a bunch of small rocks in that area so SI looks super busy when I scan that area. I prefer using SI on fairly clean mud bottoms as the fish schools really pop out in those scenarios.
