I've owned probably 15 or so dobyns and I've broke a couple no big deal since I've broke every brand of rod out there. Dobyns has the best actions of any rod out there.

Well, I don't fish as much as I used to, but evertime I hit the water Dobyns is all I use. Never once had a rod break, I have almost every make to date. Some of the older Savay series are my favorites, they take a lick'n and keep on catch'n.. Happy to finally see the family made it to Texas Gary. We need to pop a few caps at the range.

For sure Red Ill bring more firepower as well. Love my Dobyns and have not had any issues with them. Riding with Buda, frogging and pitching with Buda they have held up amazingly.

The Dobyn's I've used have worked well for me. I've had almost all of the different rod companies and they all have issues. Like Red mentioned the Savvy series is a good one!

I own original veritas to nrx. One actual manufacturer defect, on the nrx. I broke a 735 boat flipping a fish, shortly after broke a kistler exactly the same way because both had clearly been stepped on. Id say most breakage is user error. Buy dobyns with confidence, theyre fine.

I have about 15 Dobyns rods, all are Champions or DX. Never had an issue with any of them and will continue to use them. Looking forward to checking out the new headquarters when at Fork the next time.

I have about 15 Dobyns rods broke one on a hook set a few years ago it broke in about four pieces. I was told by the guy who sold it to me it was my C-Rod and the 1oz weight hitting the rod going down the lake is mostly like what caused it. I fished a lot of rough water days back then. The best rod out there in most opinion.
I was using a Extreme 743 red fishing. I caught about 45- 25# Bull Reds on it, I had one wrap the rod tip around the trolling motor shaft about 1.5 times. I got the spool released and our guide got to the front of the boat and we got the rod unwrapped and line from around the trolling motor shaft and reengaged the reel and caught the fish. I caught maybe 15 big reds after that fish on that rod.
