Anybody know what the world record for largest kidney stone is? I may be the new record holder with one that 1.6 cm. That's about .63 inches!
The real mystery is how it got from my kidney almost to the bladder before becoming a problem (pain like a horrible death). This thing is too big to pass according to the docs. I'm loaded up on pain meds now and will have to get with my urologist tomorrow to figure out what to do. I'm thinking they will try to blow it up with sonic waves into small pieces.
Pray that I can get thru the night pain free, thanks to the meds.

Feel for you PGR. I would say drink lots for beer and water, but you gotta be careful mixing alcohol and pain meds. What did they give you for pain.

Good luck, let us know what you find out. I had some IV morphine while there and it was great for the pain. Not sure exactly what the prescription is for and the wife is at Kroger getting it filled right now. Maybe I could bum a few of Ratz's stuff if it gets too bad.
