My wife and I bought a house with a 3 car garage, it is only 21' deep. I know I can get the boat to fit at an angle, the only trick is getting it in the garage at that angle. Is anyone using car skates or something similar to be able to push their boat around in the garage?

Do you have a swing-away tongue? Boat length? You can take 1-2 off like that and maybe fit it straight. I would check in to that. Ive heard the skates work well on a smooth floor but a bit of a pain to deal with. Good luck.

20' Ranger on a tandem axle trailer with a swing away tongue. Overall boat length is 25' to the swing away tongue with the motor trimmed down. Our garage has a smooth floor, and I put down the epoxy coating before we moved it. The skates should roll pretty well on it.

I have a Ranger Z20 that I have to put the boat in at an angle. Once I get it to where I need it, I put the Dollys on one wheel on each side of the trailer so I can move it like a 2 wheel trailer. Without those you cant move it around.

could you get it angled the way you wanted while backing it in and then just push it straight back the rest of the way?

I'll have the same issues once I buy another boat. I kept my last one in storage but we just bought a house with a 3 car garage specifically so I could keep the boat at the house.

google gojaks and then you'll find them, plus the knockoffs that are less expensive.
