It's going to be another "HOT" summer week! A lot of schools have started their school year. Summer vacation season is winding down. Who's FISHING this week?

Well...Took the boat in Friday for 20 hour post break in service...Hope to get it back wed or Thurs, but u never know....

Plan on fishing the Guadalupe River lakes and maybe a trip to the Nueces Canyon! On thing for certain I will be fishing a bunch this week.

Im not a Bluegill/Sunfishing person.
I have never in all the years I have been on this forum looked at this section.
You guys got it going on pictures/locations and general help it's awesome.
Reading the reports make me want to give it a try someday.
If you dont mind me asking just where is the Nueces Canyon?

I have never in all the years I have been on this forum looked at this section.
You guys got it going on pictures/locations and general help it's awesome.

The Nueces Canyon is in both Uvalde and Real Counties. The crystal clear water of the Nueces River runs through both counties. Plenty of nice sunfish including bass,catfish,Rios,and Tilapia. It's a great place to fish or simply relax! Beautiful part of Texas!  Side Note: Catching a bunch of sunnies on ultralight tackle is hard to beat!  They are also super good eating.

A man would be foolish to bet against me being on Athens sometime this weekend. The charming and fetching Mrs Chief went to visit one of her girlfriends in ND so I'm in full bachelor mode for 2 weeks.
