 Lake Mcqueeney Night Trip!

Fished Lake Mcqueeney this past week from 9pm till 3am with my good friend Jeff. Fished with a floating green light in 12 feet of water. Had plenty of bait fish swimming around the light. Fished moved in around 9:30pm. Crappie,Bluegill,Bass,and a couple of Rio's were caught. The bite was good from 10pm till 2am. Fish were suspended in 5 to 7 feet of water. Also picked up a few on the bottom. Red/White Rooster Tails got the best results. We also used Gulp Alive Minnows with good results. Kept 20 Crappie and 9 Bluegill for the frying pan. Big Bass caught by Jeff using the Gulp Alive Minnows. Bass weighed six pounds. Great night of Fishing on Lake Mcqueeney.  Side Note: Heard that a nice Blue Catfish was caught and released on Mcqueeney this past Tuesday night. The fish weighed 40 pounds just under the lake record. Do not know any of the facts around the catch. I do know the fish was released.

Great report as always LO! Good job guys.
Side Note: That was a big Blue. I think the record is 41 Lbs. The Dunlap record is a little over 50 lbs.
