....taking about the peppers. They are like a vegetable version of bacon. They make most things better. I prefer green chilies more but I love me some fresh jalapenos in most anything.

I like them, that said they have been kinda dumbed down. You just cant find a hot one.

They�re just pickles to me now. The fresh ones are better and go in a lot of my cooking. Bob�s right about Serrano�s. I use them in pico and salsa for heat. Fresh japs are for crunch and taste.
