I just got a Terrova IPILOT 24V 60 inch shaft.. After going out in 20 mph winds, I can't imagine how I fished without it. I'm old school and replaced a hand steer 12V Riptide. Amazing!. I really did not want to spend the money, but if I would have known how it would change my life, I might have sold my first born. I know Motor Guide makes some good models too and if anyone is on the fence, GET YA ONE!

Thanks, can't wait for the feeling. I have had a little pond prowler with a traxxis 45 for years and really appreciate how I can silently poke around. Have had an 18 bass buggy pontoon going on second year now. Became apparent real quick that I will need a troll motor on it as well. Just got the PowerDrive 68 with the Ipilot option installed the other day and now waiting for next day off to put in the batts ,charger and wire it all up. Should be great. Getting ready for a 5 day on the lake in another month.

Carl, I understand how you feel, I felt the exact same way when I went from a hand controlled to my Ulterra. Amazing and well worth the money.

I've not used the jog yet, but I have calibrated the compass. Going out tomorrow, will give it a go,
