I know we�ve discussed this app before and it does have some benefits, but reading through some of the posts/topics, reveals how many helpless or clueless people live around us. For instance, one post that stood out was a guy asking for plumber recommendations to change out a garbage disposal. First of all, what guy can�t do that himself? Yes I know there are circumstances where people are not capable of handling such task, due to handicaps or other ailments. Second, if you are truly incapable of changing a garbage disposal why would you over pay a plumber when a good handy man can do it much cheaper? Are people really this helpless and lack common sense?

Lots of lost pets. "Fur Babies" is said daily. If you drive a van you are a creep right off the bat and you have been reported to the police.

The best one was still where the lady found a lizard that had gotten too cold and was asking for, and getting, many tips on how to save it.

It was a "nature baby" as they called it.

Or the picture of a fox that no less than half of the people were sure was a mountain lion or bobcat...about the best pic of a fox you could have gotten but they were sure it was deadly.

Maybe he has the money and doesn't want to mess with it. Wish I could do that more often...

Those are the best topics. If there is someone at a neighboring house doing AC work, etc, immediately someone will post about �Strange Activity� and tell everyone to be on the lookout.

I pulled my nextdoor account and my blood pressure came down to normal. It is better to not know about the whiny liberal idiots french kissing their fur babies that live in your neighborhood.

they do exist. My brother in law is one of those guys that is helpless. my 10 year old daughter knows how to fix more stuff than he can. I get so many phone calls from him asking me to fix stuff a his house for him.

Part of our town is in one of DFW flight paths, so one lady took to NextDoor to rant, rave and try to start a petition to make DFW airport re-route the air traffic. She even had �evidence� that Southlake has made DFW airport route the air traffic away from their town and if they can do it so can our town. There were a few pilots that responded and laid out the facts but she continued to argue with them. It was one of the funniest ND topics I�ve seen.

One funny thing I saw was someone wanted to know who the FBI was watching because they noticed a WiFi network named �FBI Survelance Van 3�. I still need to get around to renaming mine something like that.

Ours is 95% lost and found animals. I watch the classifieds. Picked up an nice Honda push mower for $20
