Got a house rented ar Surfside for this weekend. I have not fished since before Harvey hurricane flooded my home last year.
Calendar looks promising and reports last week's are encouraging.
What should I expect for surf fishing? Probably will set kids with fishbites or dead shrimp. I may toss croakers or gulp shrimp.
Are sharks still around for the bigger rod with casted mullet or whiting?

High solunar activity and strong tidal movement. I'm going this weekend. Night fishing looks dynamite. If you're out there in the middle of the night, you might have an amazing fishing spot all to yourself.

I'm not a chick.

Mornings have been calm and active but check your forecast. Best time I found this past weekend was 9ish. Bull reds are starting to run! Got this one Sunday. I didn't have any luck with Sharks.

Nice fish! I'm hoping to get one of those next month. Going the 21st-23rd and it can't get here soon enough.
