Anyone tried the remodeled Ragan's, now Lucky Lure? Planning a trip to Sandlin for a few days when it cools down.

Know some that have and they liked it. Make sure to ask for one of the updated units. Otherwise, the church camp at HWY 21 bridge is clean and reasonable.

Haven't stayed at the new Ragans since new owners took over but got on their email list and occasionally get pictures of the trailers as they get them remodeled - not sure how many they have done yet - but new owners seemed like it was going to be much better.

A couple people I know have stayed in the remodeled units and said they were very nice.

Whatever you do, don't stay in an RV that sits directly across Hwy 21 from the church camp. The guy is charging 75 a night for a POS RV. Terrible experience and won't ever make that mistake again.

You if you dont mind having to shower and use the public toilets staying at the state park in the cabins is a cheaper alternative.
