I do not know about the DFW area but there are some Pet's Marts that carry them. I have also been told you can order them on line. Also check out some of the non national chain pet shops as well.

I order a thousand from Armstrongs Cricket Farm, stick the box in the freezer for an hour or so, then put get out my old pill bottles and put 50 or so crickets in each bottle. I then store them in the freezer grabbing a bottle or two when I am ready to catch a mess of perch. I have done this for years and they work every bit as good as live crickets. I never have to worry about trying to find bait.

I have a cricket fly that I just made. Will be using it the next time I fly fish. As for buying live crickets if I did I would get them on line or find a local bait shop that sells them.
