It definitely takes awhile to get accustomed to just you and momma. It was hard for us at first, but now we love it. Makes it that much more exciting to see them when they visit or when we visit.

The thing I like most is the more freedom you have in regards to making plans, eating out, taking trips and just in general.
Definitely thought about that as a positive, also less messes around the house. I will admit to all that it was an emotional departure for both he and i this morning. Took me awhile to get over it His mom leaves him there tomorrow afternoon, she will be a wreck Monday is move-in day at the campus. It is always interesting to see the faces of the parents as they leave their kids for the first time. Some are giddy as all get out, others are bawling theirs eyes out....and the kids are all just going out meeting new friends. Good times. Traffic sucks, though. We have a new dorm that opens this semester on our end of campus. I'll be on campus around 6:00 a.m. to avoid the nightmare.
