Had a great time seeing everyone yesterday. Great place for a get together (he has an air conditioned sheeter!). As for the food, I had a brisket plate with a half lb of ribs, slaw, and green chili creamed corn. The brisket was very good, moist with a fantastic bark. As said, its very good. But dude, the ribs blew me away. Probably the best I've had. The creamed corn was great, but I was hoping for the corn on the cob. The slaw was OK. I like a more creamy style. All in all a great visit. I'll be back for those ribs. banana

You're not kidding. I said the same thing - this is from like a year and a half ago:

They are outstanding.

Anybody who hasn't made the trip out there to try the ribs is seriously missing out.

Well hail if his ribs are better than his brisket. I'm going to have to place an order soon.

So, his sheeter is a great place for a g2g? Awkward.

Agreed. But duck hunter, D2, tactibob, and 1shot were there, so who knows what other weird stuff went on.

Not sure I would agree about this, however, T-man, rib wizard dude, I drove in from waxahachie, my bladder was angry ( Im an old so bladder capacity is limited) i see what has to be my TFF buddies, I want to meet and greet but my first statement is where is the Loo?
I get some blank stares and other looks like wtf is this?
Finally I get it that no one knows where it is, so I go looking, but no obvious sheeter-
So I get in line ask the lady at the counter where it is, she tells me in the red barn outside (?)
Ok I can find a red barn, so I walk back outside( my bladder sloshing loudly btw) and nope, dont see no red barn-
So I go back in and get in line again but a different lady is behind the counter, I ask the already asked question again, uhhh mam, where is the bathroom, I was told it was outside in red barn but I cant find it sick
This lady obviously has used said sheeter before and directed me flawlessly to the relief station, of which I was so happy to see-
So T-man, I bet past patrons of said establishment already knows where this sheeter is and think nothing of the missing sheeter signage, but please, please for the love of all things holy, please make sign for the poo place, or one that says the red barn at least-
Thank you sir-

HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

Bob I'll take kind words like that 7 days a week, thank you sir. Glad you enjoyed the ribs and glad you were able to make an appearance. When Jim pinged me a couple of days ago letting me know group was coming, I didn't know who or how many. Unfortunately we had already committed to the Low & Slow BBQ Fest in Dallas, so I had to miss out. Happy to have you back anytime brother. thumb

I wanted to bring back the smoked corn on the cob, but if we take the Green Chile Cream Corn off the menu, I'll have a riot. We make it fresh every day, and sell out every day.

(yes Dawg, we actually sell corn...but it still frustrates me)
