How do O rings change the fall of the bait? Have you watched it in a pool and compared it with and without the O ring?

I like to use them when I need to skip the Senko.

Just dont cast like a maniac and you wont need them! Plus kinda pricey for a bunch of rubber bands.

Well for one you cant hook it straight across like you can without a o-ring so that alone changes the angle by having to hook it through the o-ring. Just compare it yourself at home.

Big Bite Baits new Neko Wacky Stick. Softer, saltier and has an O Ring embedded in the plastic.

They didn't do a very good job centering and leveling the O-Ring; although it is laying flat in the right direction.

I do not use an Orign at all. That way, it doesn't keep me from fishing any bait as a wacky rig style. I have caught many fish on a wacky rigged beaver before, and a wachy rigged grog and a wacky rigged brush hawg before. Do not limit it to just a worm, you will be surprised at how many fish you can catch. Tight lines, keep safe and stay safe.

I've cut transparent plastic tubing into sections and cut two slots in the section to run a hook through. keeps hook horizontal or perpendicular to the worm. On some of these I've tied in a little mono on which to stick a split shot for weight. This is a very tough arrangement and works for skipping and regular presentation.

I've been experimenting with double o-rings crossed so that the hook is in the orientation you'd naturally have without the o-rings. It makes a HUGE difference in how long a Senko will survive skipping docks. But, I am also convinced that the o-rings hinder the classic Yamamoto Senko sinking wiggle a bit. A heavier hook with a slightly faster sink rate may compensate for the o-rings and get it to wiggle right again, but there is a difference in action with the very light hooks and line I have been using so far.
