The American Cancer Society in association with the Ray Hubbard Bass Club and our title sponsors Prestige Ford and Rad Rides are proud to announce the Third Annual Fish For A Cure benefit tournament on Lake Ray Hubbard! Here are the details.

� When: Sunday October 28th
� Where: Lake Ray Hubbard - Bass Pro Shops in Garland
� Time: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
� Registration/Check In: 5:00 - 7:30 AM - Bass Pro Shops in Garland
� Entry Fee: $100.00 per boat � 2 person maximum
� Guaranteed win payout of $3000.00
� $1000 Big Bass payout - Two places ($750/$250)

All proceeds from this tournament go directly to the American Cancer Society for the fight against cancer. This is a team tournament. One or two people per boat. You can register in person the morning of the event, or on line. A link to on line registration will be provided at the bottom of this post. Our Tournament Director this year will again be the great Scott Gordon. He will have the weigh in stage set up for registration/check in Sunday morning beginning at 5:00 in the parking lot at Bass Pro Shops Garland. Once you have registered and had your live well check done, you may trailer to a ramp of your choice. First cast is at 7:00AM. Lines must be out of the water at 3:00PM. You must be in line to weigh your fish at Bass Pro Shops Garland by 4:00PM. Entry fee is $100.00 and that includes big bass.

After you register, you will have the opportunity to buy tickets for our drawing and event t-shirts. Tickets will be $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00. A full list of prizes will be posted here soon, but the prizes are great and the list is growing daily! Shirts will be $20.00, short or long sleeve. We will have breakfast tacos and coffee or water along with gift bags for all of the anglers participating. Fishing was great last year with several 20+ pound bags weighed in!

If you or your business is interested, sponsorships are available from $250.00 - $2500.00. Each level has a few more benefits. Every sponsorship of $500.00 or more comes with at least one free tournament entry. The last two years we have had 62 and 60. We were also opposing the Berkley Tournament on Lake Fork. We are hoping for 80+. Come out and join us!

So I've been holding off saying anything figuring it would jinx us, but it looks like the weather is going to be GREAT!! May be a bit windy, but the fish on Hubbard respond best when it's a little rough. Here's the latest forecast from NOAA.

Sunny, with a high near 79. South southwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

No reason not to come out on Sunday! Finish out your year by helping a great cause!

I've had some questions. There is no off limits for this event except you have to be off the water on Saturday by 5:00PM. A reminder. We will have 100 breakfast tacos from Whataburger and Dunkin Donuts coffee or very generic water for you at registration. Come and get them while they last!

Remember everyone, even if you entered on line, or are a sponsor exemption entry, you MUST check in with Scott and get your livewell checked! We have to know you're fishing with us. It took 19.09 for the win! The two big bass were 8.83 and 8.76, I will be sending the final results to Tom and RHBC to post their event recap!

If you won something and were not there to collect it, I will be contacting you this week! Thanks again everyone! I will get the results and pictures up asap and post the final tally of what we raised as well when I get it. What a great day!
