Church league softball? First team practice tonight and first game next Monday night. One of my favorite times of the year!

I played church league softball from age 14 to 25, on the same team with the same guys, catholic church league although im not catholic, I learned to cross myself....and drink.........and smoke

I organized a summer league for my college class mates one year. One of my goals was to have the players who sat on the bench get to play so one of the rules was that if you showed up you had to play 3 innings. I didn't get to play much because I ended up being an umpire most games.

I wish we still had our league here, I would be all over it. We had 4-5 Churches that had teams, and 5-6 oilfield companies each had a team, and there was couple of teams comprised of recent HS graduates. It was a big deal, and it seemed like overnight it was gone. I wish you luck!

I play year round, our team has finally become one of the better teams and we are having winning seasons now which is nice. The days of getting blown out and playing with 8 were rough!
