Well the other day I got to do something a little different with my kids and family. As a full time guide myself we run and gun daylight until dark sometimes. As a result we have to set our family to the side sometimes.

Today I hired a good friend Brian Lilley of Lilypad Guide Service to take my kids and nephew on a striper trip on Lake Tawakoni. With strong north winds and 3-4 foot swells, weather wise it was a tough day.

There are some good guides on Tawakoni. Brian is one of the best. He worked his tail off with high winds. He made the right decisions to put fish in the boat. Very family and kid friendly guide service. I highly recommend Brian for a striper guide.

We limited out with a four man limit. Anyone that knows Tawakoni know the challenge especially with the north winds.

Thank you Brian for helping me make some awesome memories with my family. God is good brother!
