Why on every conference call there always has to be that one person that forgot to put their phone on mute and you can hear them typing and talking to co-workers? First it shows they aren't paying attention. Second it shows they are a DA because at one time they probably thought ..."Gee what a DA for not muting their phone", only to be that person on this call.
People please take note, if you are on a large conference call...please mute your phone. Don't be that DA that someone like me will talk about on the internet.

It never fails. I will also add the coughing guy, the mouth breather and the guy whose ear bud mic clicks against the buttons of his shirt constantly...oh and the barking dog

Due to work schedules we did staff meetings by conference we heard , kids crying, yelling at kids, filling with gas, cash registers, dogs etc

We do most of our's via Skype and you can see who is not muted. I usually dont call them out, hoping that they'll say something stupid. I do call them out for kids screaming in the background. I usually just ask who's calling in from a freaking daycare.

Do you tell the person to mute his phone or just rant in the OT? Rant on the OT. Some of these calls may have 75 + people from all around the country. I'm not going to be the one to call them out. I let the leader of the call do that. But I admit the breathers are the worst. Some sound like they have their mouth piece shoved halfway up their nose.
