MY aluminum boat has only one live well that is located in front of the console. I have installed an Oxygenator and a bubbler system. and still have problems with keeping fish alive during a day long event. I have insulated the box and done just about all I know to do.
I was reading about this VT-2. Basically it is a vent to allow the gases to flow out. I have smelled that foul odor and seen the foam that is talked about in VT 2 advertisement
Is there anyone that has installed and what are your reviews of this product. I know $45 dollars is not going to break the 'wild bill empire' but would like to know it is worth the time and effort to install.

thanks
wild bill

Good thinking. You could just cut a slit in the bottom of that thing and achieve the exact function of the V2 vents. noidea

Or just leave the bottom piece off and bolt the top one, saw a few crappie boats do it that way

I have had Vt-2's on 2 boats now. They are fantastic and they are all I use for my live-wells. No oxygen, nothing. Just VT-2's. They are well worth the $45 investment. Easy to install too. WELL WORTH IT.

I take it back, I have had vents on 3 boats now. One that I bought had simple vents to let gases out, but it wasn't the VT-2's. Bottom line, my fish are very healthy and very active at the end of day. In 100 degree temps, doesn't matter. They are VERY lively at the end of the day. You will not regret it.

I installed V2's last week. Can't wait to see the results. I hear a lot of good things about them and no need to use additives.
