I don't know either. It's hot outside and in that water. The bass don't like it. They have summer time lockjaw.

Tyler is an awesome lake. Been fishing it for 13 years and you just have to know and understand their movements. Its got big fish in it as well.

If you like ski boats and jet fleas youll love it. The fishing died in 2010.

It still takes 19+lbs to win most bigger tournaments on Tyler. Your not going to catch them fishing the bank or boathouses this time of year. Got to fish offshore structure;)

Yes but you have to go up the to the river end to find it. Lots of milfoil and coontail most of the hydrilla is gone unless you know where to find it

Thanking the lord for another day on the water

Most? Richard Ott, if you are reading this what he meant to say is that ALL the hydrilla is gone. Every bit of it. There is no need to bring the Lake Conroe boys in and dump another leventy seven million gallons of Aquathol K in it.

I agree with Razorback. There is zero, nada, none, no hydrilla in Lake Tyler East or the old lake. When I purchased property in 2009 it was everywhere in my location. Recently I asked a neighbor what happened to it as it was here before I built my house. He happily told me he, himself made a call to the City of Tyler to get rid of it. Gentlemen and ladies, at Lake Tyler there is a perpetual war on hydrilla. It will never resurface in this lake.

There is some green grassy stuff in many places but it barely holds fish.
