 Giant Snakehead Caught in Virginia

Check out this giant Northern Snakehead I caught while kayak fishing in the Potomac River in Virginia. This thing was a monster at 17lb 6oz and was only 6oz from the rod and reel certified World Record...so pretty pumped.

Did you kill it after you weighed it? Yep...its vac sealed in the freezer...great tasting white flaky meat.

LOL....yeah there is a story there man....I was kayaking the days before and had my water sandals on, and let me tell you the sun made my feet beet red. I wore the socks because I did not want it to get worse, but I still wanted to fish. I did it for the love of the sport
