Staying up here at Belton and just passed a truck that was totaled with a Ranger bass boat behind it. Was on the road that runs on the dam and literally right in front of the Live Oak Ridge entrance. Truck was completely totaled, just wondering if it was maybe someone on here. Made me sick to my stomach

Been catching largemouth and a few white bass. The only smallie we saw I hung up on with a Crawfish rattle trap and I got him a few feet from the boat and he got off. Other than that, we've been fishing night with black spinners and Shakey heads on wind blow rocky banks but nothing. That one i had was just luck of the draw i think. The water is 87-88 degrees though.. As far im aware, shouldn't the water be under 70 for smallmouth to really get moving? Either way, we're having fun. Fun lake to fish.

Ill probably be back up here around mid to late fall when the water cools down

My tournament parter has caught them during the dog day of summer right at dusk on the rocks, but I don't have much luck any time of year there, I catch more smallies on stillhouse.

Dam, this thread changed directions in a hurry. Hope no serious injury's in that accident.

I am a Senager. (Senior teenager) I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 50 years later. I get an allowance every month. I have PU truck and a bass boat, I am blessed.
