The wife and I took a little break from heavy fishing and just went fun fishing lol. The day started out perfect last week! It was cooler and we got tired of going to our usual lake as its just getting beat to death. So we went to a new lake. Well first place we pull up to the bass start schooling. So we throw a couple of sexy shad squarebills and boom we both hook up with a couple of about 3 plunders. Get them in and I look up at the sky and then I tell my wife hey why don't you grab the tripod before it gets windy she took 2 steps and whoosh! There goes the tripod and my phone so she dives in and she was rigging up a worm and threw spike it all over my boat. She got the tripod and phone. The tripod survived but the phone was toast. Then the wind and rain start pounding so we strap everything down and we put the hammer down and what was calm waters like glass became 5ft waves. It was raining so hard I was lost because I couldn't see and there wasn't an empty dock anywhere around us so we just went to the closest cove and rode it out. Then for a couple of hours the bite was off. Once it's started getting around 8pm it was on again then the wife's phone dies and that's what we were using to record after mine took a swim.
