Any good ponds around Coppell/Lewisville area for simple panfish or catfish? Possibly LMB too.. Taking a few of my friend's kids fishing this weekend and don't frequent that area much. Heard a few good things about Andrew Brown except a lot of turtles...any help appreciated.
Thanks!

I had heard good things about the small lake at Railroad Park. No shade around there though. Lots of small ponds around Hebron Pkwy that hold loads of fish just waiting for a worm or even some corn. Have you looked over the bank fishing map? It is a great resource.

I certainly wouldn't discount Andrew Brown because of the turtles, there's some great fishing to be had there.

The water is real low at Andrew Brown. The bass are out deep. Lots of panfish in the big pond, shallow in the rocks.
