Uni knot.
Best braid IMO is Fins Windtamer..

Palomar, always grabs for me with braid on bass hooks and thick catfish hooks

Palomar on everything but a flippin hook. Snell knot on those.

Palomar has never failed me in a lot of years tying it. Use it always except when I can't get the doubled line through a small jig eye. Improved clinch not then, but only because I can't use the Palomar.

What is the best knot to use if you are connecting braid to Flouro or Mono? I just bought a spinning rod and reel and would like to learn to drop shot. Thanks

I like the doubled uni (Uni knot, but doubling the line)
The best knot is a good knot that you can tie efficiently and repeatedly.

For joining braided line to mono I use the double uni knot(two uni knots one tied one on braid and other on mono) with the braided line doubled when attaching to larger diameter mono/flouro.
If you can put a swivel in I tie both sides to one end of swivel. If need to change out the leader only have one knot to tie.
Both the Palomar and uni knots work for me on braided line.
